Three Latvians among 30 vying for "The Sovereign European Art Prize"
An international jury, out of 350 nominees from all parts of Europe, has selected 30 finalists. With the most - the UK has six, Latvia and Italy – three each, Belgium, Croatia, Spain and Ireland – two each. The jury is headed by Sir Peter Blake.
All 30 works will be on display at the "The Sovereign European Art Prize 2010" exposition in London’s, "Barbican Center" June 9-20. The winner of the EUR 25,000 cash prize will be announced at the opening.
"The Sovereign European Art Prize" was established in 2007.
