Baltic Beauty 2010 competitions and master classes
More than 45 professional competitions in three days promises to be a serious and intriguing challenge for young talents, experienced professionals, and an interesting show for audience.

The Latvian Association of Stylists first organises a competition for Baltic make-up artists (theme: Primeval Force) to prove their creative capabilities and fantasy using not only common but also theatrical makeup – faked moustache, beards and brows, false hair or even bald cap heads, crepe and latex that could be used in case if the artist needs to boost some extra facial or body part to complete the makeup. The association also holds the 6th International Stage Make-up Competition and the 9th International Body Art Competition (theme: Primeval Force) and the 9th Competition for Associative Image (theme: Intrigue). The International Competition "Eyelash Fantasy 2010" takes place for the second consecutive year. The Union of Nail Care Trades holds the 9th Open Baltic Nail Art Championship (theme: Tale of the Orient), the 6th International Nail Design Competition and the 3rd International Pedicure Competition.

Competitions for leading Latvian and foreign hairdressers
The XVI International Hairstyling Festival, held parallelly to the fair, is an important challenge to hairdressers who seek new skills in master classes, knowledge and ideas in seminars, and opportunities to prove their mastery in different competitions. The festival is aimed to give hairdressers an opportunity to compete, to show their potential and to reveal the 2011 hairstyle trends. The show and festival will gather creative and ambitious hairdressers from different countries. Visitors are welcome to watch the tough competition and to draw inspiration!
