After three years Liberec welcomes the Nordic Combined elite
After three years, the world’s Nordic Combined elite returns to Liberec. From 24th to 26th February 2012, the city will host two races of the FIS World Cup Nordic Combined. These feature an individual race (HS 134/10 km) and this season’s hot news – the Penalty Race. The Nordic Combined elite will be coming to Liberec for the tenth time in history.
Martins Dukurs and Tomass Dukurs finish 1st and 2nd at European Skeleton Championship
During today's European Men's Skeleton Championships at the Altenberg Track in Germany, which was also a Skeleton World Cup stage, Latvia's Martins Dukurs and Tomass Dukurs finished in overall first and second place, with M.Dukurs being crowned the continent's champion for the third year in a row.
