Panorama of Riga – a view from the above
A possibility to look at the panorama of Riga from the balcony of floor 17 of Latvian Academy of Sciences is offered to the inhabitants and visitors of Riga. A wonderful view to the Old Town of Riga, bank of River Daugava, and Pārdaugava can be seen from the 65 meters high viewpoint.
You can leisurely view the landscape from the viewpoint of Latvian Academy of Sciences without rush because time on it is unlimited.
You can watch the bustle of the city from up there – life of the Central market, ships cruising in River Daugava, TV tower of Zaķusala can be seen, but on the other bank of River Daugava a glass hill –National Library – emerges.
Viewpoint of Latvian Academy of Sciences is open every day from 8:00 – 22:00.
Tickets can be bought on the spot.
