Temperatures in Latvia's western regions could rise to 0°C next week
Already next week, temperatures in Latvia's western regions could rise to zero degrees Celsius, LETA was informed by the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Center.
Meteorologists also believe that temperatures in February will be at around the norm, meaning that temperatures should remain below zero degrees Celsius.
Current weather forecasts show that the average temperature during the day in February will be between minus nine to minus 15 degrees Celsius.
The current cold snap will last until Monday, with temperatures increasing several degrees at night and during the day.
More snowfall is also in the forecast next week.
